C3058 brake fault code is a code that shows up on the dashboard of a car. It is usually displayed by the car's computer system to alert the driver about a problem with the braking system.

Meaning:

OBD-2 Protocol Meaning: Diagnostic Lamp Driver Fault.

It can be caused by a faulty brake pad, a faulty steering linkage or even the steering column the second issue is that it can make your car go out of alignment as the brake is not working correctly it works with the brake pedal, hydraulic master cylinder and calipers to slow or stop the rotation of the wheels. It is important to keep an eye on these parts because if there is a problem, it will usually give you an indication that something else is wrong with your vehicle as well.

Brake fluid leak: Brake fluid leaks often result in brake pedal pulsation this can happen when a driver presses on the brake pedal too hard or too often, and it causes wear on the brake pads and rotors as well as heat build-up in them. When the brake pedal is pressed, it activates a valve that releases hydraulic fluid to pressurize the braking system.

If this does not produce any results then it moves on to an inspection for tactile evidence such as excessive pedal travel or pedal pulsation.
